Historical research for trials

The center studies the historical context in which certain events took place, supports the activity of finding evidence, and offers historical consulting. It employs activities of historical research and documentation. Our researchers took part in the establishing of criminal case files and they have experience in the historical investigation of the crimes of communism, abuses in the Romanian penitentiaries, the Romanian Revolution of December 1989, or the assassination of opponents or dissidents of the political regimes. We are the first to offer consultancy for trials that require historical expertise and research. The center’s team is composed of professional historians and researchers.
